Discovery & Branding
We started with a deep dive discovery process to establish more consistency and understanding around the core components of her brand (who, what, why) as well as her goals for growth in 2016 and beyond.
I designed a new logo to reflect a more edgy but clean and sophisticated style to visually set Isabel apart from a more traditional, classic wedding photography brand that she felt didn't really mesh with her approach.
Brand standards guide
My husband (Brett) also contributed by helping develop additional core messaging and insight into growth opportunities that Isabel could tap into to reach her target audience. This + visual brand standards were compiled into a 20-page guide complete with logo usage + examples, colors, and typography combinations to provide a foundation for Isabel to be more aligned going forward.
Not your average wedding photographer
Isabel is not your average wedding photographer who will just take pretty pictures of your special day. She will cut off heads and legs in her photographs and strives for meaning and movement over poses.
Isabel’s approach to photography served as the inspiration for her business cards and Wedding Guide with cut off lettering and an unexpected layout.
